To apply for the NID BDes eligibility 2026 criteria, candidates must meet both age and educational requirements set by the National Institute of Design (NID). For the Bachelor of Design (B.Des) program, applicants should have passed or be appearing in the Class 12 (10+2) examination in the 2025–26 academic year from any recognized board (Science, Arts, Commerce, or Humanities). Students must also fall within the age limits: General and EWS category candidates must be born on or after 1 July 2005, OBC-NCL/SC/ST candidates on or after 1 July 2002, and PwD candidates on or after 1 July 2000.
